World Health Tourism Council (GHTC) Vice President and Cyprus President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan went to Azerbaijan to participate in the World Health Tourism Forum on behalf of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

According to the statement made by the Council; World Health Tourism Council Vice President and Cyprus President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, who went to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to participate in the World Health Tourism Forum representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, started his Baku contacts by placing a wreath at the mausoleum of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev together with GHTC Founding President Emin Çakmak, Term President Ruslan Guliyev and board members from all over the world.

The statement said that this year's meeting of the World Health Tourism Forum will be held in Baku as Azerbaijan holds the rotating presidency of the World Health Tourism Council and that GHTC board members, ministers, members of parliament, representatives of diplomatic missions, agency and hospital managers and doctors from more than 40 countries will attend the meeting.
